HOKA CLIFTON 8

Review

Hoka One One (stylized as HOKA) is an athletic shoe company that originated in AnnecyFrance. HOKA bases its shoe technology on three pillars:

  1. Propulsion: Curved soles called Meta-Rockers for forward propulsion.  This is important because it makes our walking or running motion easier, and we tend to feel less tired.

  2. Cushioned Midsole: Acting as a high-performance shock absorber without the weight. This is critical because our backs and knees will receive a minimized impact from our daily activities.

  3. Rearfoot and Midfoot Active Foot Frame: Providing superior support in the heel and mid-forefoot. The Active Foot Frame cradles your foot and secures your heel in place; this makes you feel that your foot becomes part of the shoe.

Hoka Clifton stands along the HOKA Blondi as a game-changers. Initially designed as running shoes serves the dual purpose of walking and running.  The main difference between these two lines of shoes is that the Clifton series is lighter, a bit less cushioned,  and more flexible because the sole high is lower. Which one will be the best for you? It will depend on what your priorities are. If you need lighter shoes, Clifton is the one for you.

HOKA CLIFTON offers neutral support, ideal for those feet without significant pronation (angled inwards) or supination (angled outwards). This characteristic makes them noticeably light, as they do not have the materials to provide extra support in the midsole required on pronated or supinated feet.

I recommend these shoes for the following:

  • Use for walking, road running, cross training, or gym.

  • People that stand all day on their feet

  • Aligned or slightly pronated feet

  • Ladies who are looking for a highly responsive run and a soft, secure, and light fit

  • People with hammer toes, bunion- Achilles tendonitis, etc.

  • Ladies that have faced or a facing know back troubles, for which a lighter shoe that provides great stability and comfort is a must.

  • Ladies with narrow feet. If you have a regular fit, I would recommend trying a size bigger to get the extra wide you need.

Customer segments include:

  • Anyone that wants to have a beautiful, high-quality, trendy shoe

  • Moms, middle age and grandmoms require bounce, extra comfort, and stability

  • Nurses, retail, and service workers

  • Athletes and performance walkers, and trainers

The HOKA Clifton series grab your foot well, giving excellent stability and the needed structure for a secure step. It is one of the best sellers of HOKA companies and is one of the best athletic shoes in the market.  HOKA also has other product lines that are equally amazing, such as Blondi and Arahi, but if you are looking for superb cushioning and stability in a lighter shoe, Hoka Clifton is an excellent choice.

The HOKA Clifton series comes in a wide variety of colors and attractive designs. You will be really pleased with these amazing shoes!
